Coaching
One change a day. Never a grade.
Every coached take reads the same way, top to bottom, in about five seconds: what happened, your focus, tomorrow, and one thing to try.
How a coached take reads
What happened
You rushed your opening.
A plain headline over your own line. The stretch it is about is drawn heavier and captioned: 15 seconds with no break in it. Hear your moment plays exactly that part.
Your focus
Your point arrived after you had already explained it.
One short sentence about this take.
Tomorrow
Say your point first. Then give one reason.
The largest type after the headline, because it is the thing to remember. Tomorrow opens with it.
Try this
Answer in one sentence: what should they remember?
A 30-second drill, inline, if you want it now. The day is complete either way.
How to read the line
Four marks. Nothing else.
The line is built from the audio energy recorded on your iPhone, so it is true even when the speech recognizer misses a word. Width is time, so a shorter answer is a shorter line.
What Sayforth measures
Only what can be measured reliably.
Measured
- Pace, in words a minute
- Pauses, how long and where
- Hedges, per 100 words
- Your point, when it lands
- Length of the answer
Never shown
- Filler counts. The recognizer can drop them, so the number would not be honest
- Loudness and pitch
- Accent or pronunciation
- An overall score, of any kind
Honest by rule
When a change is inside normal variation, the screen says so in words. “Pace moved 4 words a minute, which is inside normal variation. Call it about the same.”
Evidence moments
Same question, both takes.
On Days 3, 7, 14, and 21, Day 1’s line sits above today’s on one time axis, with one honest sentence and a button to hear both. It is an early sign that a change is sticking, well before Day 30.
Who does what
Measured on your iPhone. Written by a coach model from the numbers and the text, never from your audio.
Day 1
This is where we start.
Nothing to get right.
Day 1 is one question and about a minute of your voice. It is a baseline, not a test. Free to start, with no account and no paywall before your first session.
iPhone, iOS 17 or later.
