Help with Sayforth
Most billing, data, and phone-change questions are answered below. For anything else, email us directly, there's no phone tree and no contact form to fill out.

How to cancel your subscription
Sayforth doesn't process payments and can't cancel a subscription on your behalf; all Sayforth subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Sayforth.
- Tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
You'll keep Daily coaching access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling doesn't delete your data; the app continues to work on the free plan afterward. If you don't see Sayforth listed, you may be signed into a different Apple ID than the one used to subscribe.
Alternative path: open the App Store app → tap your profile icon (top right) → Subscriptions.
How to delete your data
- Open Sayforth and go to Settings, then Account.
- Signed out, tap Delete all data. Signed in, tap Delete account, and choose whether to keep your practice on your iPhone or delete it too.
- Confirm. Your recordings, transcripts, and metrics are removed from your iPhone if you chose that, and our backend deletes the device records, and the account if you signed in.
You do not need an email to do this. Deleting your account asks Apple to revoke Sayforth's sign-in, deletes your account record, and removes you from your crew. This does not cancel an active Apple subscription; cancel that separately using the steps above. If you'd rather have us help, or you are on the launch updates email list and want off it, email support@sayforth.app and we'll confirm within 30 days. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How to request a copy of your data
Your session history, transcripts, metrics, and feedback are visible in the app itself on the You tab at any time, no request needed. They live on your iPhone and we do not keep a copy, so we cannot send you an export of them. For a data request about what we do hold (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), email support@sayforth.app with the subject line "Data request" and we'll respond within 30 days.
Common questions
The app isn't hearing me clearly. What's wrong?
Check that Sayforth has microphone access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, and try practicing somewhere quieter. If a session's transcript looks clearly wrong, the feedback screen will say we couldn't measure it confidently rather than guess, and that session won't count against your metrics.
I upgraded to Daily coaching but it still shows Free.
Open Settings in the app, then Your plan, and tap Restore purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for an active subscription. If it still doesn't update, check Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone to confirm the subscription is active, then email us.
I was charged after canceling.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately, so a charge that happened before you canceled is expected. If you were charged after your subscription should have ended, that's an Apple billing issue: request a review at reportaproblem.apple.com, since Apple processes all payments and refunds.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Sayforth without an account. Your first coached answer needs no sign-in. After that, Sign in with Apple is needed for AI coaching, Coach's notes, interview practice from a job listing, the referral program, joining a crew, and to buy the Daily coaching plan. We do not ask for your email. Your practice lives on your iPhone. Your subscription belongs to your Apple Account, so it follows you to any iPhone signed in with that account; use Restore purchases if it does not appear.
I'm moving to a new iPhone. What comes with me?
If you use iCloud Backup or move your data with Quick Start, your progress, transcripts and your Day 1 and Day 30 recordings come with it. Other recordings stay on the old iPhone. Backups are stored by Apple under your own iCloud account and settings; we never receive them.
I lost my iPhone. Can you restore my practice?
We do not keep a copy of your practice, so we cannot restore it. Your subscription is not affected: it belongs to your Apple Account, so sign in with that account on your new iPhone and use Restore purchases if it does not appear.
Can I use Sayforth on more than one device?
Sayforth is for iPhone, and your practice stays on the iPhone where you made it. Signing in does not sync your recordings, answers or coach's notes between devices; it does save the items you earn, so they come back on a new iPhone. Your subscription does follow your Apple Account: on another iPhone, use Restore purchases.
How do I turn off AI coaching?
Open Settings in the app, tap Privacy and data, and turn off AI coaching. Nothing is sent for coaching while it is off, and your sessions are still measured on your iPhone.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@sayforth.app with what happened, what you expected instead, and your device model and iOS version. A screen recording helps if the bug is visual.
