On the device
Recorded and transcribed on your iPhone.
Recordings are kept in the app’s local storage. You choose how long: 30, 90, or 365 days, or until you delete them.
To the coach
Text and numbers, never audio.
With AI coaching on, the text of what you said, your pace and pause numbers, and your coach’s notes are sent to our server, then to OpenAI, which writes your coaching. Every few answers, your Coach’s notes also send a summary of measured facts and a few short quotes from your own answers the same way. Our server does not keep a copy of what you said. Your words are not used to train AI models. Your first coached answer needs no sign-in; after that, coaching needs Sign in with Apple. Coaching is your choice: it stays off until you say yes, and Settings turns it off at any time.

Delete everything with one button.
Settings, then Account: Delete all data when signed out, Delete account when signed in. It removes recordings, transcripts, and progress from the phone and what our backend holds about you. You do not need an email to do this.

This is a summary. What our backend logs, how long it is kept, and how our AI providers process transcripts and job listings are in the Privacy Policy. This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to understand how visitors use it. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a separate Google property, to count how it is used (for example, finishing a session) along with your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, language, and approximate country or region. It never receives recordings, transcripts, names, or email addresses, uses no advertising identifier, and does no cross-app tracking. Does my audio leave my iPhone?
No. Your recordings stay on your iPhone. We never upload your audio. Only the text of what you said is sent for coaching.
Do you train AI models on my recordings?
No. Your recordings never leave your iPhone, so they cannot be used to train anything. OpenAI writes your coaching. Your words are not used to train AI models. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
What happens to a job listing I paste?
The listing text is sent once to our server and OpenAI to read it and write your practice questions. Our server removes email addresses, phone numbers and links first, and it does not keep the listing. The listing stays on your iPhone until you delete it, in Your listing.
How do I delete my data?
Settings, then Account. Signed out, tap Delete all data to remove your recordings, transcripts and progress from the phone and the device records from our backend. Signed in, tap Delete account, then choose whether to keep your practice on your iPhone or delete it too. You do not need an email to do either.
Does Play record me?
No. Play is played with your fingers and never listens. It keeps which levels you finished and your medals on your iPhone, and nothing else.
